When I first started building We Rise, I thought it was a conference.
One powerful weekend a year where women could step away from the demands of business and life, reconnect with themselves, and return home with renewed clarity and courage.
But something unexpected happened.
Women weren't just looking for inspiration. They were looking for connection. For support. For people who understood what it felt like to carry the weight of building something meaningful.
At the same time, OKC Women in Business had already become a trusted gathering place for thousands of women entrepreneurs across our community. Women were showing up for coffee meetings, networking events, referrals, and relationships that helped them grow their businesses and support one another.
Over time, it became clear that these weren't two separate missions.
They were different expressions of the same belief:
Women thrive when they don't have to do it alone.
Today, We Rise Collective and OKC Women in Business work together to create spaces where women can connect, grow, learn, and lead.
